The word Hopi means 'people of peace' and is a
native Indian tribe in America. The
candle is hollow and does not have a wick, is placed into the ear having
been lit at the other end is held in place by the therapist. The candle
contains flax, honey, beeswax, sage, camomile, st john's wort and
beta-carotene.
During the treatment a moderate suction is
created. As the treatment stimulates the ear, nose and throat all
sinuses can be relieved. The movement of the flame sends tiny vibrations
down thee candle which gently massages the membrane. This is
particularly helpful for people who suffer from pain when flying or
diving.
